Yummy, Simple Apple Dumplings

Published by rhyahcf at 6:48 pm under Recipes for Kids Edit This

Today was my monthly recipe club meeting. I was the host, and I chose apples for my theme. I love apple recipes, although I’m not a huge fan of apple pie. Today I tasted something called Apple Dumplins’ that were absolutely delicious. The recipe is simple and one that kids can help make. I hope you enjoy it! It’s a great welcome to fall recipe!

Recipe:
4 Granny Smith apples
2 cans crescent rolls

Cut apples into quarters. Wrap 1/4 of each apple in one crescent triangle. Put into a baking dish. Mix the following together and pour over apples:
2 sticks melted butter
1 1/2C. sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon

Pour 1 can of Mountain Dew over the entire thing. Bake 45 minutes at 350*
Enjoy!
